Born in 1949, educated at Queen's University of Belfast, from where he obtained a Bachelors of Law Degree in July 1972. Robert was admitted to the roll of Solicitors Northern Ireland in September 1975 and then joined the firm of D&E Fisher Solicitors in Newry as an Assistant Solicitor and became a partner in 1976. Robert joined the roll of Solicitors in England in June 1988.
He was appointed Notary Public in May 1998. Throughout his career he has worked extensively in the areas of Probate and Conveyancing and has extensive experience of dealing with Civil and Commercial agreements and disputes.

Norville graduated from Trinity College in Dublin. In 1974 he was apprenticed to Ian Bamford (the now retired District Judge) in the well known and established solicitors firm of D & E Fisher Solicitors in Newry. In 1977 he qualified as a Solicitor before becoming partner at D & E Fisher Solicitors in 1978 were he currently practices specialising in Property law and in Company & Commercial transactions. He was admitted to the roll of Solicitors in Southern Ireland in 1991.
He holds a Post graduate Diploma in Laws in European & Commercial Law and has published articles in the Northern Ireland Legal Quarterly and the Writ.
Norville is a long standing member of the Law Society Council and a member of various committees including Policy, General Purposes and Finance and Client Communications and has chaired the Remuneration, Client Complaints and the Compensation Fund Rules change committees.
Norville will serve as President of the Law Society in Northern Ireland from November 2009 until November 2010.

Andrew Ferguson attended Portobello College Dublin, graduating as Bachelor of Laws with Honors. From 1998-2000 he served apprenticeship with Robert Ferguson in the firm of D&E Fisher.
Admitted to the Roll of Solicitors for Northern Ireland in 2000 and for the Republic of Ireland In 2004. Andrew has completed a course in Advanced Advocacy in 2006 and a Conveyancing Skills course in 2002. He is also accredited as a Senior Litigator within the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
He has responsibility for Civil Litigation and Criminal Law aspects of the practice. From 2011 Andrew has been enrolled as a trained mediator within the Law Society's panel of alternative resolution practitioners.
Clare graduated in joint Honours Law and Accountancy from The Queen’s University of Belfast in 1998. She subsequently attended the Institute of Professional and Legal Studies and was enrolled as a solicitor in September 2000.
Clare’s areas of particular interest include residential and commercial conveyancing, probate, family law and licencing.
Judith attended the University of Ulster at Jordanstown where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Law in 1999.
She served her apprenticeship with Robert Ferguson at D & E Fisher from 2001 until 2003 when she qualified as a solicitor. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors for Northern Ireland in 2003.
Judith deals mainly with family law and probate matters in the practice.
